In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of top social apps on the Android platform in Hungary showcased varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

TikTok - Videos, Shop & LIVE experienced a decline in weekly revenue, starting from around $97K at the beginning of April and dropping to approximately $65K by the end of June. However, weekly downloads remained relatively stable, ranging from 9.7K to 11.3K. Active users saw fluctuations, reaching a high of 901K in mid-April before settling at about 868K by the end of the quarter.

Facebook saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, starting at $1.6K and peaking at $2.7K by the end of June. Weekly downloads were consistent, with numbers ranging from 7.5K to 9.7K. The active user base remained robust, hovering around 2.3M to 2.4M throughout the quarter.

Threads maintained a steady flow of weekly downloads, ranging from 5.6K to 7.6K. Active users showed a slight increase, starting at 269K and reaching up to 286K by the end of June.

Instagram had modest weekly revenue, fluctuating between $1.2K and $1.8K. Downloads remained stable, ranging from 5.8K to 7.5K, while active users varied slightly, peaking at over 1M in April.

Facebook Lite saw consistent weekly downloads, with numbers climbing from 4.2K to 7.7K. Active users increased notably from 45K to over 52K by the end of the quarter.
